Our mojos and gris-gris are created with only the most authentic and time-honored ingredients—hand-selected herbs, roots, dirts, minerals, crystals, powders, and other intention-specific curios. The elements of each of these "spells in a bag" are dictated by spirit and family tradition for maximum effectiveness in addressing your every need and desire. Because they are handcrafted and traditional, no two are entirely alike, differing slightly in size as well as presentation, with fabrics and decorations varying. In addition, each gris-gris or mojo comes to you turbocharged and with complete instructions for the proper activation and care of your new, supernatural ally.

HOW DO MOJOS AND GRIS-GRIS DIFFER?

While what we call "gris-gris" are also often referred to as "mojos," for the sake of clarity, we like to make a distinction based on the structure of the item.

Mojos, a.k.a "hands," "tobies," or "trick bags" are little drawstring bags of conjure – assembled to accomplish a specific task and then worked with like a trusted friend for the attainment of your goals. They are usually larger than gris-gris, and can be opened for the addition of your personal concerns and other desired items.

Mini but most mighty, gris-gris, a.k.a "gree grees," are like mojos, but are constructed from cloth squares, drawn up and together, tied-off, and are not meant to be opened. While they may be less work to make, they are, by no means, less effective. Modest and readily concealed, they can be comfortably tucked away in a pocket or pinned to your bra without creating a large, attention-drawing lump, allowing you to go about your business, discretely.
