The wax of the Bayberry bush is said to draw prosperity and good luck; as the old, colonial rhyme goes, “A bayberry candle/ burned to the socket/ brings food and larder/ and gold to the pocket.” Bayberry candles are really popular around Christmas and New Year's for this very reason. It is, however, actually very difficult to come by genuine Bayberry wax candles and they are pricey when you can find them. In addition, that intense and lovely scent, that everyone associates with such candles, is an added fragrance, as true Bayberry wax has very little to no scent at all.

The root of the Bayberry bush is also credited with being able to draw money and good luck, and it is much easier to come by. You can use the root as a solid or powder, however, it lacks some of the flexibility of an oil. Here, we provide you with the means to add that Bayberry zing wherever and however you like.
